Look, out on the road! It's a boat; it's a tank! It's a couch on wheels! No, it's an Oldsmobile!

I bought this 1975 Oldsmobile Delta 88 From an old man's estate after he had passed away. The guy took very good care of the car, and I've done the same. But after four fender-benders with the Olds, I decided to restore it and repaint it. I've also added some custom lighting effects and engineering marvels to personalize the car.

The driver's rear door and passenger front door had to be swapped out after a stupid kid driving his parent's SUV smashed into me. We welded in new metal around the rocker panels and the lower parts of the rusty doors. The hood was dented and has also been replaced. We sanded the body and painted it with silver lacquer paint featuring blue metal flake and a blue pearlescent in the clearcoat.

The door handles have been shaved on the rear doors and replaced with electronic poppers. The front door handles were also removed, but we replaced them with custom electro-mechanical handles. These handles began as reproduction handles for a 1965 Corvette. They fold in to the door. They feature a magnet swinging past a microswitch, so all you have to do is tap the handle and it pops open your door electronically. The space inside the handle glows blue when you open them.

The rear tailgate had the word "OLDSMOBILE" on it from the factory, but we had a company mill out the letters. We filled the letters with a clear resin and backlit each letter with about 10 blue LEDs. That's over 100 LED's in total, and now the word OLDSMOBILE lights up blue for car shows.

The Olds has over 130 thousand miles on its original Olds 350 engine. The trans has been beefed up with heavy-duty clutch packs. New suspension makes it ride like a real couch on wheels. All the doors pop by remote control, and the chrome flying lady hood ornament seals the deal. This car is pimped out. When the stereo is finished, the car will be audible from a block away.
